I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to channel our time in a good direction. I want to help entrepreneurs feel calm, equipped, and in control when they sit down to work every day, and so much of it comes down to how they manage their time.
But what is “time management,” anyways?
Come to think of it, what is time?
I Googled that question and found myself reading a very intense article about a Physicist’s attempts to define what time is and how it works. (Check out the link at the bottom of this post if you’re curious). Somehow, even small children can grasp the concept of living in time, but our most brilliant scientists struggle to fully capture it.
Time is powerful – there’s not a single human on earth today who can stop it, reverse it, or slow it down.
Time is limited – we have no idea how much of it each one of us has.
Time is really frustrating, if we think about it.
How we spend our time fuels both our greatest accomplishments and our greatest regrets, so it’s wild to me that when I search for “time management for entrepreneurs,” this is what I get:

Here’s my proposal – together, let’s start taking time seriously. Let’s go deeper than “the morning routines of the most successful people.” Let’s think about what we want our time to mean across the entirety of our lives…and then let’s design and build businesses that give us that kind of experience of time.
